Impaired Driving

Impaired driving is the legal term commonly referred to as a DUI or DWI by members of the public. While it may seem to be a simple concept, it is actually a very technical area of law and there are a range of impaired-related charges that a person could face. A person with an impaired driving charge, or impaired-related charge, will receive a criminal charge if convicted and will receive a license suspension for a period of time.

For some people, a defence may be available or a breach of your legal rights may lead to the charges being withdrawn. It is important to have a lawyer review disclosure with you and to go over your legal rights and options.
